I had an amazing time birding in Sax-Zim Bog with my guide John last weekend. From the start, John was incredibly attentive and made sure I had the best possible experience. He is not only a highly knowledgeable birder but also an incredible photographer with many years of experience. His photography tips were invaluable, helping me capture some truly stunning shots of the birds we encountered.John’s expansive network of contacts was also a huge advantage—thanks to real-time alerts, we were able to chase down many of my target species, including multiple great gray owls around the bog. His expertise, patience, and passion for birding made the day unforgettable. I highly recommend Minnesota Birding Guides—if you're looking for a fantastic birding and photography experience, John is the guide to go with!
Had a great day with my guide William in the Sax-Zim Bog. Although this was his first official professional guiding assignment, he was incredibly attentive and focused on me having a great experience which I did. We had some incredible sightings of great gray owls and pine martens. I would highly recommend Minnesota Birding guides!I returned to Northern Minnesota recently and once again used Minnesota Birding Guides. This time our guide was Noah and he did a terrific job getting us some amazing sightings- multiple great grey owls and we also saw the elusive Northern hawk owl. We spent two fantastic days with Noah and would highly recommend him. He definitely knows his birds!
Professional guides in the Northwoods of Minnesota. Noah was able to find great gray owls and a northern hawk owl for to photograph. He was on time and very amenable to our needs. Great time out in nature.
As a park ranger and naturalist I pay close attention to techniques for helping people connect with the wonders of nature and Noah is fun to watch. I've known Noah Kuck since he started birding and eventually leading trips with the Detroit Lakes Festival of Birds. He is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. It's fun to hang out with someone so passionate about helping you see and learn about birds.
I'm a birder in MN and a co-chair of the annualDetroit Lakes Festival of Birds. Noah Kuck started as one of our fieldtrip leaders (4 to a tour) as a young teenager! He located birds by sound and sight as well as explaining what was seen. Noah is friendly and willing to help birders of all levels. I welcome him back as a field trip leader as soon as he could get here!
